Reena Kapoor

The Real Me

Conifer Consulting is a one-woman shop conceived, owned, and operated by me — Reena Kapoor. For over 15 years I’ve been helping companies big and small to define and achieve their marketing objectives.

You can see my very official resume below, but here’s the bottom line: I was fortunate enough to begin my career at Procter & Gamble* (more than 15 years ago, but who’s counting??) where I worked for 6 years developing my skills as a marketer. I then moved on to Kraft Foods for another two years. An engineer by training (IIT-Delhi, Northwestern University), I made the leap back into technology about 9 years ago, doing product management and marketing for high technology companies. By happy accident, I began my consulting career in 2004 and fell in love with the work — and the fact that I don’t work ALL the time.

I live in the south bay with my husband and 6.5 year old daughter (that 0.5 is very important to her). Though I love marketing, there’s much else to life — cooking, reading, movies and so much more. Last year I completed my first Marathon (2007 Nike Women’s in San Francisco) and was a top fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma society.
